IVPCARE is pleased to announce Tamara Tobias and the REI nurses from Seattle Reproductive Medicine in Seattle, WA are the winners of the 2007 Cathy James Professional Patient Education Grant. Their grant titled: My Fertility Journal: Monthly Calendar and Resource Pocket Guide, promises to be a great contribution and resource for infertility patients and centers.
IVPCARE’s Professional Patient Education Grant Program was established to provide clinicians working in the field of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility an opportunity to harness personal innovation, desire and creativity by developing a patient education initiative. In 2003, IVPCARE decided to dedicate this grant annually in memory of Cathy James, NP for her enormous contributions to the field of Infertility Nursing.
We are now in our seventh year of the grant program. The high quality proposals that have been chosen by our Nursing Advisory Board will certainly contribute to the ongoing provision of excellent patient education.
