IVPCARE compounds medications that are not commercially available. By providing alternatives and allowing for flexibility, IVPCARE can offer more to physicians and patients.
Compounding is rarely provided in a traditional retail setting as specialized facilities are required and pharmacists require compounding certification. Our compounding pharmacists have completed compounding courses and are required to complete 6 hours of continuing education every two years to maintain their certification.
IVPCARE's compounding room holds an advanced classification to ensure a sterile and clean work environment. In addition to having the proper facilities, IVPCARE continually runs quality assurance tests and utilizes an independent lab to confirm correct sterile technique as well as proper dosage strength.
